PhD. PETER KLIMLEY
Is the world's leading expert on Hammerhead and Great White sharks. An adjunct associate professor in the Department of Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation Biology at the University of California, Davis. He has published 71 articles, two books, and edited two special issues – most of these on the behavior and ecology of sharks. He is completing a book, entitled the “Biology of Sharks, Rays, and Chimaeras” for UC Press.

PhD. FELIPE GALVAN MAGAÑA
Is one of the leading experts on sharks and bony fishes in Mexico. He is a principal scientist and professor in The Interdisciplinary Centre of Marine Science (CICIMAR). Advisor to more than 30 Ph.D. and Master's students, author of over 60 scientific articles on Trophic ecology, fisheries, genetics, age and growth, and several other disciplines focused on fishes. He is currently a member of various shark conservation foundations in Mexico.

PhD. MAURICIO HOYOS
Began his career as a shark nursery and reproductive biology expert, and he has since dedicated his professional life to the behavior of sharks. Currently, he works with two species listed as “endangered globally” and “of concern” on the IUCN’s Red List: the hammerhead shark and the great white shark. Mauricio is active in public speaking and gives talks to students from Kindergarten to University level in order to try to change the misunderstanding revolving around sharks. He helped found the Divulgation and Research of Sharks and Rays From Mexican Waters Group, and is currently a member of various shark conservation foundations. Mauricio Hoyos is the person in charge of the white shark project in Guadalupe Island.
